Job Description
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of our platforms while driving automation and efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
This role requires but is not limited to the following:
♦️Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS cloud platform.
♦️Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure components using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
♦️Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable delivery of software applications.
♦️Monitor the health and performance of systems and application in real-time, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance.
♦️Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
♦️Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to support the growth of our platforms.
♦️Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, QA, and operations, to drive alignment and achieve common goals.
♦️Participate in incident response activities, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to mitigate future incidents.
♦️Evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve processes and increase efficiency.
♦️Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides to ensure reproducibility and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
We expect you to have:
♦️Bachelor’s Degree or equivalence (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
♦️Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a professional services organization. Experience with Fintech is an advantage.
♦️Strong proficiency in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and version control systems.
♦️Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform. (GCP is an advantage).
♦️Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
♦️Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
♦️Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
♦️Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
♦️Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements in the fintech industry.
♦️Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
♦️Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
