Job Description
♦️Certify birds for slaughter.
♦️Certify carcasses for further processing and sale.
♦️Give guideline to best safety practice
♦️Review general operation with the Quality Assurance Manager.
♦️To assist in preparation of worktable HACCP Plan.
♦️Research on modern practices.
♦️Collaborate with the marketing and technical team to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified operational system.
♦️To assist in implementing measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of records and documentation.
♦️To assist in application of the Cores Food Safety and Quality in general operations.
♦️To assist in monitoring and evaluation of general operations.
Requirements
♦️Must have a First Degree in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Food Science and Technology
♦️A certificate in HACCP and Strategic Operation will be an added advantage.
♦️Experience in Food Animal Research.
♦️Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
♦️Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word and Excel)
♦️Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with the parameters of instruction given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
♦️Certificate of Food Safety or Occupational Health and Safety practices is an added advantage.
