The Purpose
♦️To execute the maintenance plans and procedures in the Mills and packing station, ♦️carry out maintenance effectively and ensure efficient performance of electrical systems and machineries.
The Duties
♦️Schedule maintenance activities and monitor maintenance electricians to ensure optimal skills and capacities utilization
♦️Ensure jobs assigned and maintenance tasks are promptly carried out to prevent production loss due to machine downtime
♦️Document and analyze maintenance parameters for plant improvement
♦️Ensure effective and efficient troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment to reduce downtime
♦️Monitor the usage and handling of materials and tools assigned to electricians
♦️Identify job skills gap of subordinates and organize on-the-job training
♦️Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs
♦️Plan and organize maintenance of the relevant machines to ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
Qualifications
♦️B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
♦️COREN, NSE will be an added advantage.
Experience:
♦️5 years cognate experience in a milling environment.
♦️The Person Must: Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
♦️Have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
♦️Be able to pay attention to details and accuracy.
♦️Have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
♦️Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
