Job Summary

♦️We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bread Maker to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking a variety of bread and operating specialized bakery equipment.
♦️This role requires a working knowledge and understanding of the bread-making process, from mixing ingredients to monitoring dough during the rising period and baking it to perfection.
♦️The Bread Baker will ensure that all bread products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

Job Duties
♦️Properly operate all bakery equipment including Disc Oven, Chiller, Mixer, Weighing Scale, and Dough Moulder.
♦️Follow baking recipes to ensure accurate mixing of ingredients, resulting in a well-formed dough.
♦️Use the Weighing Scale to measure the dough accurately according to the recipe requirements.
♦️Use the Scale to take proper dough measurements
♦️Check dough during the rising period to ensure optimal fermentation and texture.
♦️Monitor the baking process closely, ensuring that the bread is baked correctly at the right temperature and for the recommended duration.
♦️Safely remove baked bread from the oven at the appropriate time.
♦️Know how to slice in case the Bakery Assistant is not available and prepare it for sale or distribution.
♦️Send a detailed report of the bread baked, including quantities and any variances from the standard recipe.
♦️Ensure that all equipment (oven, mixer, scale, moulder) and work areas are kept clean and sanitized.
♦️Adhere to all hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications
♦️SSCE / OND
♦️Proven experience as a Bread Maker or in a similar role.
♦️Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and tools, including experience with fermentation and proofing.
♦️Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
♦️Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
♦️Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy baking supplies.
♦️Excellent time management and organizational skills.
♦️Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Work Schedule:
♦️This position may require early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on bakery operations.
